Founded in 1946, a famous wooden bowl made from "Sakura" created by "Sonobe Sangyo".
A cherry tree that Japan loves. Sakura as a material is fine and delicate and fits well in the hand.
Light, durable and simple design that fits in your hand is safe for anyone in your family to use. The wood base made of only old-fashioned natural materials (lacquer and a little vegetable oil) absorbs plenty of lacquer to create a durable coating on the trees in the forest.
This is a gem using cherry blossoms created by the historic woodworking factory "Sonobe Sangyo" in Odawara, which has won the Good Design Award.
